audubon women in conservation luncheon

The National Audubon Society’s Women in Conservation Luncheon is one of the season’s most highly regarded environmental and social events. To commemorate the 10th Anniversary, the Luncheon is celebrating the achievement of the past Rachel Carson Awardees and its Founding Chair,  Allison Whipple Rockefeller.   This year’s deserving recipients are Maria S. Heiskell, Philanthropist and Conservationist and Lady Bird Johnson, First Lady and Environmental Pioneer. Ann Thompson, NBC News Chief Environmental Affairs Correspondent will be the Master of Ceremonies and the guest speaker is Doug Brinkley, Official Historian of CBS News.  Audubon’s Women in Conservation Program was created for girls and women to discover the world of conservation and connect with the best and brightest women leaders in the environmental movement. For tickets or for more information, please visit Audubon Women in Conservation.

For what to wear to this celebration of women and mother earth, we discovered at SAKS.com this creamy collection of flattering sheaths so appropriate to wear now, and all through the summer months ahead.  We chose accessories  to compliment and add a pop of color and texture to the essential ensembles.  Each of these dresses could easily go from day to night all season long.
